everyone seems to be getting into politics this time of year. even saveur, a foodie magazine, has an article of what “newsmakers and news breakers” are consuming for their most important meal of the day. some interesting ones:

weather, security threats and bear spray – all reasons to close down an airport. the juneau (alaska) airport had to be evacuated last friday because a can of bear spray was accidently discharged. bear spray, similar to pepper spray which affects the eyes and respiratory system, is suppose to deter a bear attack.
