anderson leads the pack
the new york post is running an online poll for the hottest news hunk. at the writing of this story it’s no suprise that our sacred bird, anderson cooper, is in the lead with 25.5% of the vote. there were, however, quite a few things i found surprising about the poll:
1 – thomas roberts, formerly of cnn’s headline news, comes in second. roberts’ most recent gig was as a correspondent for entertainment tonight and the insider. i’m not sure this qualifies him to be included in this “news” hunk poll.
2 – in third place is flying fish, bill hemmer of fox news. the ny post being a mudroch property, you’d think rupie would be able to do a little something and at least hook him up with second place.
3- charles gibson is captioned as “NBC Nightly News Reporter”. i hope whoever proofed the poll doesn’t get fired but only suspended like the guy who updated the wikipedia site with russert’s death.
according to the ny post, the poll is inspired by lara logan’s recent public affairs. what will they do now that she’s preggers?
