so yesterday I mentioned how 630 loves animals. well, i happen to know that 630 also really likes aquariums. i came across this interesting article about the expansion of the aquarium in atlanta (which claims to be the world’s largest but many dispute). so, just to make sure that they are the biggest and the best, the aquarium just announced a $110M/1.5M gallon expansion that would seal (he he) the deal. according to the article, the space would be used for “dolphin windows, dolphin shows and something called “dolphin encounters.”” a luxury condo for marine life, if-you-will.
the aquarium article reminded me of another article that i read about a while back–an aquarium of the human kind. it talked about how all of the new glass buildings going up in new york are good for people watching. not to go all pam anderson peta on you but somehow i think that the humans may like it better.
