. . . and so it begins

accenturei know at the end of last week we lamented to o.d. on tiger woods stories, but thought it was interesting that accenture, a management consulting firm, decided to terminate its relationship with tiger woods.  no stranger to questionable ties (accenture was once a part of shamed–and defunct–accounting firm arthur andersen) it really had no choice, given that accenture’s entire advertising campaign relied on tiger’s image.  anyone that has recently traveled through an airport has seen the “go on, be a tiger” ads with a little tiny accenture logo in corner. the firm said “after careful consideration and analysis, the company has determined that he is no longer the right representative for its advertising…it wishes only the best for tiger woods and his family.” perfect theory, imperfect execution, huh tiger?

i wonder if they’re working over-time to shred the billboard posters in some secret room in dallas.
