all sales are final

pbs’ frontline debuted the documentary about the financial implosion and the merger of merrill lynch and bank of america.  as the story goes, merrill employees were annoyed to be acquired by and working with a bunch of “toaster salesmen” intimating that bank of america  is  ”low class” compared with the high class frat boys from mediocre state schools with good golf games and football teams.  in this video, former merrill chief john thain sounds a lot like a used car salesmen saying “you drive it off the lot, you own it chump”.
