there might be new meaning to the question now that people are building and selling homes in caves. the sleeper family’s 17,000 sq feet 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, which was built inside a decommissioned mining cave, is listed for sale on ebay. located on 2.8 acres of property in festus, missouri, the family is unable to meet an upcoming payment and may have to sell. what they’re really hoping for, i’m sure, is that the publicity they’re receiving from their ebay listing, their website and their ning site will somehow find them a way to stay in their home. i don’t blame them, i totally wouldn’t mind living in a cave.
