i’ll have the burger, hold…everything
i think this nostalgia thing is catching on big time. in celebration of the 40th anniversary, mcdonald’s is in search of an update to the famous old “two all-beef patties, special-sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onion on a sesame seed bun” tune. musical geniuses can upload their video to a myspace page in hopes that the update will become an instant mcdonald’s classic like the one below.

but it occurs to me that in today’s hyper-conscious society where burgers come with only the finest of of ingredients, without the carb-laden bun, and due to food scares–are served minus some of the main ingredients the main ingredients, is there room for a chant that goes something like this:
two faux-meat or free range patties, miso sauce, lactose-free cheese, locally grown organic lettuce and pickles on a toasted soy-nut gluton-free bun
