i’m a pc

these days, cheaper is better. ask the people featured in the new microsoft ads. computer shoppers in los angeles area were recruited by an ad agency and offered money to make their purchase in exchange for filming the ad. whatever wasn’t spent on the computer, they were allowed to keep. the first ad features a women who did some comparsion shopping and ended up spending $700, leaving her with $300 to keep.  lauren, the shopper, decides  “I’m just not cool enough to be a Mac person.”  according to the ad agency, out of the dozen people recruited for the experiment, not one purchased a mac.

seems that microsoft has finally figured out a pc is often cheaper than a mac, especially these days, and you have a lot more options because of all the manufacturers. good thing we don’t have to sit through another jerry seinfeld/bill gates commercial.
