it’s where they sent dick on 9/11
the original recipe for kentucky fried chicken, written on yellow lined paper by the colonel himself has been moved to an undisclosed location until further notice. they did this so that the company can can make security improvements. much like the recipe for coca cola, the 68 year old recipe for kfc’s original recipe is kept under lock and key.
here are some interesting details about the current lockdown procedures:
- only two company executives at any time have access to the recipe.
- kfc uses multiple suppliers who produce and blend the ingredients but know only a part of the entire contents.
- for more than 20 years has been tucked away in a filing cabinet equipped with two combination locks. to reach the cabinet, the keepers of the recipe would first open up a vault and unlock three locks on a door that stood in front of the cabinet.
- vials of the herbs and spices are also stored in the secret filing cabinet.
wow, i guess this means they are really afraid of the (ham)burglary
