to follow up on the time for a diet story and to add a few new ones to the price is… ridiculous list, here are some prices you can expect to find at the the local grocery store in hawaii:
- kraft cheese slices – $7.19
- jiffy peanut butter – $8.25
- lettuce – $1.99 per lb
- tomatoes on the vine – $6.39 per lb
- milk, 1 gallon – $6.50
- quaker oats cereal – $7.65
i wonder if they’ve got a costco or bj’s out there.
