sky nannies
as 180 boarded her early flight this morning, she tweeted “Plane full of high school kids that decided to sit “where they wanted” has teachers all pissed. As a passenger, I’m not thrilled either.” most of us have been on a flight like that. even worst is a flight with a young child sitting in the seat right behind you. i’m sympathetic to the parents who work hard to keep their little brats busy but the last thing i want is some kid kicking on my chair throughout the flight while i’m trying to pretend i’m on a smooth train ride. luckily, according to travel and leisure, a new trend in traveling is a service called sky nannies. the in-flight nanny services are responsible for entertaining the kids (and hopefully keep them from kicking my chair). it’s only available on the middle eastern airline gulf air right now to and from bahrain but hopefully it’ll be a service that catches on quickly, like the swine flu, and comes to the states soon.
