why didn’t they do a deal with mcdonald’s?

foursquare the company that at its inception, seemed even more useless than twitter* , has tried to become more useful by giving those that become ‘mayors’ (frequent visitors of locations) coupons from starbucks. foursquare mayors get $1 off of a frapuccino of any size and any flavor, according to consumerist.com.

i bet mayor mccheese is totally annoyed that they didn’t seize the obvious mcdonald’s tie-in opportunities.
