adoption fraud

NY245_13931570-1-pnwith blogs, facebook, twitter and all the other social media out there these days, over sharing has become the norm. however, the next time you post photos of your child up on your family blog, you might be want to hear jenni brennan’s story first. brennan found a fake adoption listing on craiglist’s…for her 7 month baby, jake. the photo that accompanied the listing was from her family blog. when brennan responded to the ad, she received an email back that said her son was currently living in an orphanage in africa but that he was candian. brennan notified the fbi and the listing has since been removed from craigslist and although she doesn’t think he was ever in any danger, she “felt like his likeness was being violated.”

*out of respect for the brennan’s we’ve posted a photo of remy, instead of baby jake.  remy is (really) available for adoption through petfinder.com
