before beyonce was telling anyone who would listen to put a ring on it she was lamenting that the bills, bills, bills were piling up because of her loser boyfriend.
looks like beyonce was finally able to pay off the balance in-full because of the job she did over the weekend. allegedly she was in st. barth’s and played 5 songs at a party hosted by the ruling family of lybia. in case you forgot, the ghaddafis rule with an iron fist over libya and um, took responsiblity for killing 270 people (193 of them american) in the 1988 bombing of a pan-am flight 103*. although not officially confirmed, the evidence is piling up that she did indeed perform–click here to read the protestations via twitter and click here to watch the bad video.
i’m thinking mariah carey is responsible for the spill because she was paid half that ($1M bones) the prior year for a similar performance (beyonce’s husband jay-z performed that year too). in any and all cases, at some point you gotta ask yourself “how much money do i really need to make?”.
