marriage is so gay
so i was on a conference call today with people in california (san francisco) and they were talking about how the east coast is so uptight and inflexible. i hemmed and hawed but didn’t have anything of substance to say. now i’m going to let them know about this: the state of new hampshire joined massachusetts and connecticut today in allowing gay marriage–this makes the three states the only three out of 50. the bill narrowly passed the house of representatives the 186-179 and then goes on to the senate and the governor where the future is uncertain (the democratic governor opposes gay marriage but hasn’t indicated how he’ll vote). i know san franisco has saint gavin and everything but uh, people living in glass states shouldn’t throw stones–afterall, new hampshire’s are made of granite.
