i need help with two things:
- i don’t understand how aliza shvarts’ self-induced miscarriages could be considered art. shvart, a yale university art student, explains her 9 month project in the yale daily news as performance art.
- i don’t see why anyone would subject their bodies to this type of “art”. heavy bleeding and cramping does not is not something i’d voluntarily subject myself to.
yale is insisting the project is a hoax. i guess there’s a third thing i need help understanding – if it is a hoax, how does one come up with an idea like this?
