glad it was the powder, not the cups
people, we know you love your jello pudding but how far would you go to get it? would you buy it, take out the pudding mix, refill it with sand and salt and then return it to the market so you get a refund? christine clement and her husband, alexander, were arrested in suffolk county, new york, for doing just that. they’ve been charged with petty larceny and tampering with a consumer product.
police believe their intention wasn’t to tamper with the product but only to avoid paying for it. my question, why use the salt? it might be cheaper than the pudding mix but if you’re going to refill it with something, why not just the sand?
