it sure is a long 15 minutes
everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame but why does it seem to last longer for some than others? let’s take levi johnston as an example. we were introduced to him during the republican convention. he was all dressed up in a suit playing the good boyfriend/father-to-be to sarah palin’s daughter, bristol. shortly after the birth of their child, we find out that he and bristol had split up but rather than just quietly going away, johnston started to appear everywhere. vanity fair, gq magazine, talks shows, a nut commerical. now it appears that he’s likely to get himself a deal for the online nude magazine playgirl. really?
someone please explain, what is it that is so appealing about johnston? there must be something because the only other explanation for johnston’s “fame” is that people are so interested in sarah palin stories that they’ll take it any way they can get it. if it were true, that would mean despite resigning as alaska’s governor, sarah palin is as popular as ever. and that is scary.
