i wore the orange bikini to match the jumpsuits
venezuela’s dayana mendoza, miss universe 2008 just got back from a trip to guantanamo bay (a military prison camp) and could not get over how beautiful it is–she wondered out loud why everyone wants to leave. here are the trip highlights she wrote about on her blog (the post has since been removed because of the obvious outrage):
- “we hung out with the guys from the east coast and they showed us the boat inside and out, how they work and what they do, we took a ride around the land and it was a loooot of fun!”
- “we also met the military dogs, and they did a very nice demonstration of their skills.”
- “we visited the detainees camps and we saw the jails, where they shower, how they recreate themselves with movies, classes of art, books. it was very interesting.”
i love how in between interrogations and continuous loops of death metal, barney, and eminem music designed to get them to give up good intelligence, the prisoners get to “recreate” themselves.
maybe her next trip should be to a russian prison. mickey rourke recently stayed at one so how bad could it be?
