looks like others maybe taking anderson cooper’s lead and making the leap from reality tv to news. melissa rycroft’s 2006 turn on her first reality show, dallas cowboy’s cheerleaders: making the team, won her a role on the squad. her second turn on the last season of the bachelor, didn’t win her the man (at least not for good) but won her the viewer’s sympathy and no doubt, helped land her a next role on dancing with the stars. seems that third time’s the charm because although she didn’t win dancing with the stars, her next leap will be to good morning america. rycroft has been named “special contributor” to abc’s good morning america. look for her segments this summer.
