* in 2009 chef tom opened the chef’s table room at craft for “recession fridays” a phenomenal idea and fantastic menu that featured no item over $10 bones. when 630 and i dined there, we actually saw chef tom mingling with the guests–i think our bill was under $70 bones including tip.
** dessert there was awesome.
*** best winter-bar in new york EVER, i still say that after having a leninade poured down my back by a thirsty banker reaching over the bar.
