Last night watched the first two episodes of the John Adams series on HBO. Fascinating stuff–the politicking, the colonies’ reaction to occupation (hmmm)…As I watched, I wondered what it would be like to have had the media outlets chime in on the day’s events way back when
What fun captions would Erica and Anderson have come up with for the image of the poor British dude being tarred and feathered?
Which hillbilly angle of the story would only be covered on Fox news by Bill and Megyn…given that they were all kinda hillbillies back then?
