spring ‘10 trends
sacred bird is no stranger to reporting fashion trends, especially for news people. remember when we covered the ubiquity of the purple silk monochrome tie? or the spring 08 trends for men? or the fashion staples packed by globe treking newsies? well, the newest trend popping up on he runway is men’s earrings. marc jacobs has been wearing them for years. this fall, the rag & bone fashion line featured them as part of their show. harrison ford got one after he dumped his wife; and veteran news man ed bradley always wore one. here are some ways i think they’ll be popping up on some of our favorites news men:
- bill hemmer will debut his bling at megyn kelly’s son yates’ christening.
- anderson cooper will be seen sporting one at his next doctor’s appointment to check his h1n1 status.
- glenn beck will remove his when he does a show expressing his outrage that his ear got infected after he got one from a rogue, un-american vendor.
- rush limbaugh will wear one to a tea party.
