santa is a community organizer
a real live secret santa is the hearts and lining the pockets of the needy citizens in kansas city, and st. louis, missouri. on friday, santa “descended on thrift stores, a health clinic, a convenience store and a small auto repair shop to dole out $20,000 in $100 bills, as well as hugs and words of encouragement to unsuspecting souls in need.” the gracious santa took over the job after he promised larry stewart a secret santa of 27 years, that he would carry on the joyous tradition (stewart’s identify was revealed shortly before his death).
santa is accompanied by a group of elves with expertise in law enforcement who provide transportation, security and crowd control. there was no word as to whether santa was accompanied by any of his famous reindeer friends. we all know how the one named rudolph feels about community organizing.
