check out chatroulette. as of february, the site had more than 10,000 members who signed up to be randomly connected to strangers around the world for web “chats”. i’ve haven’t been on it but it appears to be the new platform where you can find some of our favorite news anchors – diane sawyer, keith olberman, katie couric and brian williams.

i had read somewhere that your webcam is initalized automatically when you go to the site so i’m afraid to even go to the homepage to check it out! besides, my major time suckage activity right now is facebook’s farmville. no time to interact with real people, just my virtual farm animals.
