why hannah montana is no longer twittering
given that research shows that teens don’t twitter, i’m not sure why it was such big news (big enough to be picked up by the wall street journal blog) that a teen celebrity is leaving twitter. rumors were that miley cyrus, with 2 million followers, deleted her twitter page because her boyfriend, liam hemsworth, told her to. her last tweet “FYI Liam doesn’t have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.” being the musician that she is, cyrus decided to address all the questions with a rap video on why she quit twitter. she explains didn’t do it because “her friend told her to” but because she was tired of the “gossip sites taking it and making it news.” instead she’s decided to “stop living for moments and start living for people”. and if you didn’t already know, “the truth I’m too busy.”
