you mean i didn’t make the list??
the forbes celebrity 100 list was published today and on the whole, the people you’d expect to be on the list are on the list. the top 10, from 1 to 10 are ophrah winfrey, tiger woods, angelina jolie, beyonce knowles, david beckham, johnny depp, jay-z, the police, j.k. rowling and brad pitt. the rankings are based on earnings, “media metrics”, press mentions and the number of times the individual appears on the cover of more than 50 magazines.
here are some i found surprising:
- angelina jolie and brad pitt takes up two spots on the top ten, doesn’t seem fair
- lauren conrad made $1.5 million??
- the police ranked 8th and made $115 from their reunion tour
- dr. phil ranked 30th. i would’ve thought that after the britney fiasco, he wouldn’t make the list
- jennifer lopez only made $7 million last year, birthing the twins must’ve slowed her down
- rush limbaugh ranks 59th, surprised he makes the list at all
- the large number of younger people on the list, who when i think about it don’t surprise me at all such as miley cyrus, daniel radclifee, zac efron and ashley tisdale
