a man scorned
okay so maybe katie couric (or any of the cbs anchor) doesn’t get to moderate any of the upcoming presidential debates but it seems that she shouldn’t be counted out just yet. mccain was suppose to appear on late show with david letterman wednesday but he cancelled on letterman because he was suspending his campaign and heading back to washington. last minute, letterman had to get keith olbermann to fill in.
maybe mccain doesn’t watch tv, like he doesn’t use the internet, and has no idea how things work because he appeared on the cbs evening news with couric at exactly the same time he was suppose to be taping for letterman’s show. needless to say, letterman had a few comments to make of being slighted. the first three minutes are slow but definitely catch the last six minutes.
i think letterman makes a good point. why suspend your campaign? why not let your running mate campaign? if you can’t trust her to make some campaign appearances, can you really trust her with a country?
