he talks better than he plays
there’s always a lot of smack talking when brian willaims and jon stewart get together so it’s about time they took it outside. the two led separate teams (one nbc nightly news and one daily show) the other night for a little game of softball. perhaps it was the daily show’s pregame chat “I don’t know what I just heard, Brian Williams throws like a girl” that intimated the nightly news team or maybe they wore out their energy in the pregame stretch because they never had a chance. the daily show team won 12 to 2.
at the end of the day, williams reminds us that despite the humiliating loss, they are still winners. “We have the advantage at the end of the day because we make the news that they parody. Without us, they don’t have the raw materials.”
