to 180’s comment about not seeing much of our buddy bill hemmer lately, it might be because he’s been too busy hosting charity golf events lately or maybe it’s because the pr folks at fox news have shifted their focus to his on-air wife, megyn kelly. last week for kelly there were tons of write-ups about some commotion of “encouraging hate, intolerance, misogyny” after an article on playboy.com listed kelly as one of the 10 women who “generated a desire for hate sex among men”. this week it’s a write up in haute living magazine where kelly makes mention of diane sawyer. “If I could have half the career of Diane Sawyer, I’d be a happy woman,” says kelly. the writer then proceeds to make comparisons of kelly to sawyer throughout the article (I don’t buy it). we’re still a few months away but what i’m more interested in is who they’re going to pair with flying fish (bill hemmer) when kelly goes on maternity leave in october. any guesses?

actually, there was a midwest-boy-do-good article in cincinnati.com in april about bill – his love of cincinnati (how he finds time to return to his hometown several times a year) and his love of skyline chili. it had some nice quotes from childhood friends but for some reason, the article is no longer up.
