they say a picture is worth a thousand words
apparently everyone’s got a copy of photoshop these days. to add to the collection of digitally altered images, here’s two that made the news yesterday:
1. in response to fox news’ design skills, the folks at vanityfair.com decided to do a little photoshopping themselves. here’s a selection, see the full gallery on the vanityfair.com website.
2. iran’s revolutionary guard released some photos yesterday from their controversial missile testing. problem was that one of four missiles they launched failed and never got off the ground. i guess the iranians thought it would be more intimating if there were four missiles instead of three so they added one to the photo. the digitally altered image was published by many news outlets such as the nytimes, chicago tribune, BBC news, Yahoo! News, MSNBC and the los angeles times.
