forget the streets of london, the streets of bridgehampton (the hamptons) got a little rough over the weekend when john mccluskey, a resident of the hamptons decided to give rudy giuliani, former mayor of new york and presidential candidate, a piece of his mind.  according to the account in the new york post, rudy dared the mccluskey to “do it” when mccluskey threatened to knock him out.  rudy’s wife judi, who was also there, called their driver and then called the cops.  mccluskey was eventually arrested.  in a follow-up letter to the editor, mccluskey wrote “the fact is that while crossing the street i simply informed rudy of my contempt for his sleazy bullying tactics for most of his prosecutorial life. i pointed out he would gladly prosecute and persecute the innocent as well as the guilty if it gained him publicity.” also in that letter, mccluskey claims that he is a film maker but i think he’s a community organizer or something and we all know how rudy feels about community organizers.
