carly fiorina wants john mccain and sarah palin in the white house, just not in the board room. in recent interview (below) the former c.e.o. of hewlett-packard (hp) made her reservations known about the candidate’s readiness to run a business. in an ironically dubbed “biden-like” statement, fiorina said that the two leaders may be qualified to be the leaders of the free world and captains of the world’s largest budget, but, um, they aren’t qualified to run a major corporation. to be fair, she also said barack obama and joe biden would suck too. what she failed to mention, is that in 2005 the people at hp thought she sucked too so she got canned. rumor has it, she’s looking for work again because she won’t be working for mccain for a while.

i mentioned her job status because it relates to her discussion of competence. as said, people thought she sucked, i didn’t say she sucked (although i think merging with compac wasn’t a great idea) but i’m going to look at the stock price fluctuation related to hp. but either way, her comments were a little “biden-like”. i’m just sayin’.
i’m a fiorina fan, i don’t think HP would exist today if she hadn’t knocked some heads and ruffled some feathers. we all know that ppl are laid off every day for doing their jobs and when others feel threatened…
