‘party’ not ‘bag’
even though glenn beck the cryin’ fool decided to back out as keynote speaker at the san antonio tea party he’ll broadcast from there. the national events, organized by freedom works, a conservative organization led by dick armey and devoted to lower taxes, less government, and more freedom–seem to be catching on. freedom works says that they are “leveraging its national grassroots infrastructure, a volunteer network over half a million strong, to launch a modern-day ‘tea party’ protest movement our Founding Fathers would be proud of.” the events are designed to “show president obama and congressional democrats that their push towards outright socialism will not stand.”
i guess over 8 the last years when we got more government and less freedom, organizers didn’t follow samantha’s “breathe through your nose” advice.
