so that’s why he’s the mayor
a few days ago in gotta beware those disgruntled employees, we reported that a system administrator in san francisco had locked everyone out of the city’s network systems. there have been mulitple attempts to try to get the access codes from childs but he would not budge nor did he give a reason why he did what he did. a week later, the issue has finally been resolved. news today is that mayor gavin newsom, in a secret meeting, was able to convince childs to give him the access codes.
childs’ reasoning for not sharing the access codes earlier according to his lawyer was because “His co-workers and supervisors had in the past maliciously damaged the system themselves, hindered his ability to maintain it … and shown complete indifference to maintaining it themselves.” if i lived in san francisco, i might be a little nervous that his statement is true and not just his defense.
