news you can use: weekend edition
getting ready to galavant in the park this weekend with your friends? it’s going to be the first official warm weekend (hot they say) so you need to be armed with news you can use to impress your friends. here’s a few stories from the past week (april 20-24, 2009) to show them you know which way is up:
- some horses went on to the greenest of pastures.
- we dreamed of glenn beck, sean hannity, and bill hemmer when a network unveiled a new strategy to rule your brain and then we remembered that sacred bird (anderson cooper) rules the newsworld.
- a popstar got busted for sharing too much personal info.
- america went crazy for books again.
- 630 got transported to the past and contemplated a new pet.
