week in review: january 26-30, 2009
oh how the cold in the east lingers. much like the t.a.r.p. and the other gifts that people keep on receiving. here’s a gift from us hear at sacred bird, to you, the reader: the week in review. take a look at the week that was, hopefully it will give you some news you can use in your team meetings, after-work cocktails, or small-talk the local barista (i just like saying that word). here goes:
- 2008 may have been the year of change but some things didn’t we like the continued release of crap movies.
- speaking of change, the banks and car makers aren’t really embracing it.
- we dreamed of oprah in the capital building giving her love (steadman, gail, potus) the thing he wants most.
- the team at men’s health warned us about bad food, these guys didn’t listen.
- there are a few jobs available, and contrary to popular belief, they’re in news. here are some tips in case you get an interview.
