week in review: january 5-9
everyone needs to ease into the new year. at sacred bird, it’s no different. there was a lot of news you could use to impress your friends though. not to be a buzz kill but if i were you, i’d bookmark this page and add us to your rss feed, because pretty soon we’ll be the only form of entertainment you can afford (assuming you can pirate somebody’s wifi).
here’s some things that may deserve a second look:
- in culture: books are good (sort of) but this kid took his love of learning a little too far.
- in business and economy: that kid i just mentioned, with a little encouragement, he’ll be fine.
- in media: one guy from planet in peril picks the dog, the other guy will take care of him (oh and the country too).
- in politics and government: planning a trip? if you want to bring your lovah on your next out of country trip, rethink that.
- in science and technology: we can’t make an electric car by 09 but we can make a wearable loo?
