bing is growing up
if you’re still haven’t bother trying to understand twitter in the hopes that it will go away, you can forget it. mcirosoft announced today that it has integrated tweets into its search engine, bing*. (tweets, for those of you still living under a rock, are 140 character post in twitter. ) this move by microsoft means when you search for “how much alcohol can i drink before i’m drunk” you might get the result “got f*d up drunk after 2 drinks last night” from user ilovebooze. if that’s not enough, microsoft is also working on integrating facebook posts into its search results. if you’re like this guy, you better go in and check your privacy settings.
*not to be topped, google also announced today that it will be integrating tweets into its search engines. the integration is expected to be still a few weeks away.
