kfi (kentucky fried in vitro meat)

i’ve been obsessed with fried chicken since i stopped eating those “dirty birds”, as one of my friends called it. seems that some folks at PETA have been missing their favorite animal meal as well. so much so that they’re offering a $1 million dollar reward to the first person/company to create some fake meat out of animal stem cells and make it a viable product. seems many PETA members are as “repulsed” by this as by eating animals.

it’s just a matter of time before animal products from cloned animals are on the market, why not some lab grown meat? although speaking for myself, the idea of eating meat grown out of a petri dish is as gross as eating a “dirty bird”.

As an avid lover of the fried chicken – I find this story disturbing – besides fried chicken is not really about the chicken -they should focus on genetically engineering fried chicken skin (yum ->?)

um, ew.
