first came the toilet that “cleans” you when you’re done and deodorizes the room, then came the toilet that analyzes your urine – for health purposes of course – now they’re looking to the great beyond. the japan aerospace exploration agency is working on a “wearable” toilet that is supposed to be worn at all times in space. a suction unit sucks the um.. waste when a sensor is activated. once your business is done, the built in washer and dryer takes a whirl (reminds me of a car wash). it’ll probably be another few years before the portable toilet is ready, it’ll be interesting to see if they end up building in a recycling unit like they’ll have on the international space station.
